About this event
Please note: This year's Brant Lake Winter Carnival is cancelled due to lack of ice. Mark your calendars for next year's winter carnival, on February 15, 2025!
The Brant Lake Winter Carnival is an absolute blast on ice! This winter carnival features the always riveting Outhouse Races, which stars decorated and occupied outhouses that are pushed on skis. The races are run in memory of Davin Berg. Prize money for the Outhouse Races totals $1,000. The Fry Pan Toss Competition for all ages is another event that you don’t want to miss!
Winter activities include broomball tournaments, Adirondack curling, Human Foosball Competition, hockey shoot-offs, and skating all day long. There’ll be a Vintage Snowmobile display and Parade. Bring your ice skates, and don’t forget sleds for the children’s sledding hill!
Food and beverages will be provided by the local Boy Scouts and Jimbo’s Club at the Point. A great way to end your winter fun is to enjoy the fireworks at dusk.
Those interested in competing in the Outhouse Races can register with Cindy Mead at cmead3@nycap.rr.com or by calling 518-494-3016. Broomball, Foosball teams and Vintage Sleds will be able to register the day of the Carnival.
This is a day that has something for everyone – come visit and play! Participate or spectate ~ you’re guaranteed a really great time!
