Overview

McCauley Mountain in Old Forge offers much more than skiing - it's a mountain biking haven! The total descent is 2,077 feet with a vertical of 511 feet and 20 different trails with levels for all biking enthusiasts from novice to expert.

Mountain Biking for Everyone

Mountain bikers will love the variety of bike trails that range from rocky terrain to a smoother ride for all skill levels, and even more are being developed. The trails are color-coded to reflect the degree of difficulty. Bikers can also check out the Tobie Trail, a 14-mile recreational pathway connecting Old Forge, Thendara, Big Moose, Inlet, and Eagle Bay. Regardless of the trails you choose you can find the solitude you need and the excitement you crave.
