The holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year - even during a normal year! - and sometimes the last thing we want to do is comb through cookbooks and online recipes to figure out this year's meal.
If you'd prefer to relax and let someone else do the cooking and cleaning, check out Adirondack restaurants below that will be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.

Friends Lake Inn
New Year's Eve (Dine-In) & New Year's Day (Dine-In)
Visit Friends Lake Inn in Chestertown for an incredible dinner to ring in the New Year. There will be a prix fixe dinner with captains style seating, and the party itself concludes at 12:30AM.
To continue celebrating, there is a breakfast on New Year's Day from 9AM-11AM. Considering these special events, check-out for guests will be extended to 1PM.
Garnet Hill Lodge
Christmas Eve (Dine-In), Christmas Day (Dine-In), and New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
Make your reservations for a holiday meal at Garnet Hill Lodge in North River. You can join them for a Christmas Eve Dinner at the Log House Restaurant on December 24, a Christmas Buffet on December 25, or a New Year's Eve dinner buffet on December 31.

Hotel Saranac
Christmas Day (Dine-In)
Enjoy a delicious dinner at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake on December 25. Dinner will be served in the Campfire Adirondack Grill + Bar with a pre fixed menu crafted by the executive chef and his talented team. Hours will be 3PM-8PM, with reservations strongly suggested.
The Sagamore
New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
The Sagamore is going to have a night full of dancing and celebration! This is a special outdoor event offering bonfires, s'mores, DJ Andy Pratt, fireworks, and much more. If you want to celebrate the New Year in a memorable way, The Sagamore is just the place for you.
Note: For non-hotel guests, tickets will be sold on PrestoCart's website. This is only for the First Night event. People that aren't hotel guests will not be able to enter before opening or dining in the restaurants.
Whiteface Club & Resort
New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
The entire family is welcome to attend the Whiteface Club & Resort's New Year's Eve celebration in their Adirondack Dining Room. Choose a starter, entree, and dessert from their special holiday menu ($150pp).
Whiteface Lodge
Christmas Day (Dine-In) and New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
The Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid will be making the spirits bright with holiday meals on Christmas and New Year's Eve. Enjoy festive decor, cocktails, and culinary delights. Be sure to call and confirm your reservation in advance.
Sticks & Stones Wood Fired Bistro and Bar
Christmas Eve (Dine-In) and New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
Sticks & Stones in Schroon Lake will be open on Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve. They are open on Christmas Eve from 11:30AM-7PM. On New Year's Eve, they will be open from 11:30AM-10PM. They will be offering their regular menu to customers on both of these days. Come join them for some great food during the holiday season!
Sticks & Stones will be closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Adirondack Hotel on Long Lake
New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
Don't miss out on the Adirondack Hotel's New Year's Eve celebration. They are accepting reservations for dinner with seatings from 4PM-8:30PM. Then, there will be entertainment with Eric Peter starting at 8 PM until midnight. A wide variety of dinner specials will be available on the menu. Call for reservations at 518-624-4700.
Long View Lodge
New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
Come dressed in your best western attire for Long View Lodge's New Year's Eve event on December 31 in Long Lake. This year's theme is "The Wild Wild West," and there will be a dinner and party. The four-course dinner will cost $65pp with seatings available from 5PM-9PM. There is no cover charge to enjoy the party with DJ Glenn LaBlanc from 8PM-1AM.
Oak Mountain
New Year's Eve (Dine-In)
Oak Mountain in Speculator will be hosting a New Year's Eve Alpine Chalet Dinner on December 31 from 5PM-8PM. Full details are available on their Facebook page, and a deposit of 50% will be due at the time of reservation. Fireworks will follow the festive dinner event.
